Sometimes the website is fine and the hosting is the problem: constant slowness, no backups, outdated server software or repeated hacks. If that is your situation, we will migrate your website to better hosting for free while we fix it. You own the hosting account and pay the host directly. We just do the work.
Moving a site copies it as it is, so we clean and repair it as part of the job. You do not carry a problem over to a new home.

What do you need from me to fix my site?
Usually a WordPress admin login. Sometimes we also need access to your hosting account. We will tell you exactly what is required, and we recommend changing your passwords once the work is done.
Do I have to be local to hire you?
No. We are based in Surprise, AZ, but most repairs are done remotely for businesses anywhere.
What if you cannot fix it?
You do not pay for the repair. That is our guarantee.
How do I know you will not make it worse?

Site is down or showing errors
Why is my WordPress site showing a blank white screen?
This is often called the white screen of death. It is usually caused by a plugin or theme conflict, an update gone wrong, or the site running out of server memory. It is almost always fixable, and your content is normally still safe.
My site says there has been a critical error on this website. What does that mean?
WordPress hit a problem it could not recover from, most often after a plugin, theme or PHP update. We track down the cause, fix it and bring the site back.
Will I lose my content if my site is broken?
Usually not. Your pages, posts and images typically live in the database and files, which are intact even when the site will not display. That is why we back up first.
My site worked yesterday and is broken today. What happened?
The most common causes are an automatic update, an expired SSL certificate, an expired domain or hosting plan, or a plugin that stopped working. The free check helps pinpoint which one.
My site shows Error establishing a database connection. Can you fix that?
Yes. This usually means the site cannot talk to its database, because of a hosting issue, wrong settings or a corrupted database. We diagnose it and repair it.
I cannot log in to my WordPress dashboard. Can you help?
Yes. We can usually restore access, whether it is a forgotten password, a login loop or a lockout caused by a security plugin.

Hacked websites and security
How do I know if my website has been hacked?
Common signs include redirects to strange sites, pop-ups or spam content, a Google warning that the site may be hacked, new admin users you did not create, a sudden traffic drop, or your host suspending the account. Our free check scans for known malware and blacklisting.
My website got hacked. What should I do right now?
Do not panic. Change your passwords for the website, hosting and email, avoid logging in from shared computers, and contact us. Please do not delete files yourself, because that can make recovery harder.
Can you remove malware from my website?
Yes. We clean infected files, remove the malicious code and close the opening the hacker used.
Will the hack come back after you clean it?
It can if the way in is not closed. We update the software, remove vulnerable or abandoned plugins, reset credentials, and recommend a care plan with scans and monitoring to help prevent it.
Google or my host flagged my site. Can you get it unflagged?
In most cases, yes. After the cleanup, we help with the review process to get the warning removed.
Why do small business websites get hacked?

Why is my website so slow?

Why does my contact form say it sent but I never get the emails?

My site says Not Secure. How do I fix that?
That means your SSL certificate is missing, expired or misconfigured. We fix it so visitors see the padlock and trust your site.

Should I move my website to a different host?
Only if the host is the problem. If your site is fine where it is, we fix it in place. If hosting is slow, outdated or unsafe, we will recommend a move, and we will do the migration for free.
Who owns my hosting account?
You do. We never hold your website hostage. You pay the host directly, and we just do the work.
What is a care plan, and do I need one?
A care plan covers regular updates, backups, monitoring and security scans. You do not need one to hire us for a repair, but it is the best way to keep your site from breaking again.
What happens if my plugin or theme is abandoned?
If it is no longer supported, it becomes a security risk. We will replace it where we can, or recommend a rebuild if the site depends on it.
Do you work on sites that were not built by you?
Yes. We repair sites built by other designers, do-it-yourself builders and companies that are no longer around.
Can you fix a site that is not WordPress?
Our specialty is WordPress and WooCommerce. If your site is on another platform, send us the address and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Can you fix my online store?
